Exercise is Medicine Program @ Athletic

The program, which is supported by recommendations from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), helps survivors meet the recommended 150 minutes of weekly exercise. The primary focus of this 12 week session will be on improving cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility and balance for prostate and breast cancer survivors.

Prostate Cancer Edition-

JT Poole, a Certified Oncology Exercise and LRAC yoga instructor with a background in nursing, will lead the small group.

Tuesdays and Thursdays

2:15 - 3:15 pm in the Group Exercise Studio

Breast Cancer Edition-

Jan Swindler, a Maple Tree Cancer Alliance Survivorship Trainer, ACE personal trainer, ACE Health Coach and ACE Senior Specialist, will lead the small group.

Tuesdays and Thursdays

3:15 - 4:15 pm in the Group Exercise Studio

Program Fees:

Complimentary for members. Non-members will be billed $120 per month for the duration of the program. The monthly fee includes a Family membership (as defined by our membership types) or one for the participant and his/her caregiver.
